Alan has arrived!

For those of you wondering, I heard from Alan this morning and he arrived in Bordeaux with no problems. He was able to sleep most of the way there so arrived at 9 am ready to start the day.
He rented a bike and spent the day riding around town and along the river. He says the weather has already cooled off there, so I guess I will be rethinking my packing plans!
It sounded like he has already settled in and feels at home, so hopefully he will enjoy his stay in Bordeaux. Hearing about it is making me even more excited to head over there!
