The Big Reveal!

The wait is finally over and we are ready to debut the new bathroom.

Here is a reminder of what the bathroom looked like before:

Some kind of weird counter with a sink that was impossible to use and a shower that appeared huge and wonderful from afar but...
when you got up close you realized the tile job was done wrong leaving it uneven and leaking water into the wall and floor.

And here is what it was like along the way:

Along with the help of my dad we took the whole thing down to the studs!

It was a long process but we are so happy and proud of the final results!

A new vanity with double sinks

A new shower with soaking tub.  All new tile and fixtures.

The walls were painted a light gray (Valspar's Bay Waves) which coordinates with the rest of our place and the blue stripes (Behr's Wishing Well) go along with our color blocked rooms.

We are so happy with how it turned out!

You did a beautiful job making a space that is lovely and functional for your needs. I am wondering where you got that nifty holder for extra toilet paper.

Hi- I just stumbled on this blog and saw that you used the godmorgon/braviken sink and vanity from ikea- how do you like it? I've been leaning toward getting a smaller model. I love the design, I'm just not sure about the quality. Great work on the remodel, by the way!
