With time to spare!

Today was the big day, we ran the Strong Legs 10k for Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. When we started training we set the goal of making the 6.25 miles in under 70 minutes, since a time of 75 minutes or less qualifies you for a timed slot in the Peachtree Rd. Race. Well, we did it, we finished in at 62 minutes and 50 seconds (official results aren't posted yet). It was a tough course with lots of steep hills but it was so much fun to take part with the 100's of people who also ran the 10k. We are exhausted now and look forward to taking the week off to rest and recuperate. Next on the list is the ING half marathon in March, so stay tuned!
