Over the past two weekends we have seen the inside of 20 homes in the Atlanta area, no we haven't become peepers!
Last weekend we went on the Junior League of Atlanta's Tour of Kitchens. There were kitchens for the gourmet cook to the bachelor (specifically the Thrashers goalie), all with different styles and layouts. Plus some of the kitchens had chefs from top restaurants in Atlanta who were giving demonstrations and letting you taste their food, plus you got to take home the recipes! We collected some new ideas for our own kitchen as well as a couple great recipes we can't wait to try out.
See the kitchens hereThen this past weekend we took part in the Midtown Tour of Homes.
Sunday morning we volunteered to help host a home, took the tour in the afternoon and then took part in the volunteer after party. We met some great people who live in the Midtown Neighborhood and got to see some interesting homes. We are hoping to our loft ready to apply to be on the tour next year, we'll see!
