Our first blog entry in 2006 was about the first bloom on the plumeria tree we brought back from our honeymoon in Hawaii. When we brought the plant home it was a 6 inch stick that we were told to plant and leave alone. Eventually it grew into a tree and started producing huge leaves and beautiful plumeria flowers. It's been 5.5 years since we brought that stick back and due to moving multiple times during those 5 years the plumeria has ended up living with Alan's parents. Every time we visit we are shocked to see how much it has grown and we thought you would be surprised as well.
It's starting to hibernate for winter so it has very few leaves left. Imagine how big it is when full of leaves! It's time to prune it and share 6 inch pieces with anyone interested!
