Randy Pausch and the Last Lecture

Many of you have probably heard of Randy Pausch and his famous "Last Lecture" given at Carnegie Melon.
The professor of computer science who's battle against terminal cancer and inspirational lectures on the subject made him a household name in the US. Despite the lecture's wide popularity, Randy says he really only intended his words for his three small children.

If you haven't seen the Last Lecture here it is.

This is the Last Lecture. Yes, it is quite long (1 hour), but well worth every moment.

If you don't have time for the hour long full version, here is a shorter 10 minute version he gave on Oprah.

I saw him when he appeared on Oprah last year and occassionally find myself remembering things he said and evaluating them.

Randy died July 25th from complications with his cancer.
He was a wise man and thank goodness he left a little of his wisdom for us learn from.
